Job Description
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. They are responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. These include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. They are expected to utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships, and provide advice and guidance to attract and retain customers.
Education & Experience
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED. One year of customer service experience, teller experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. A Notary License is also preferred.
Physical Requirements
The job requires applicants to be capable of performing sedentary work, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. The role also involves frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting/carrying of items under 25 lbs.
