Hours and Pay Details
The role involves a commitment of 30 hours per week, with a pay scale ranging from $22.00 – $27.75 USD. The base pay offered may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
Line of Business: Personal & Commercial Banking
In this role, the Banking Associate plays an integral part in delivering TD’s Brand promise at the store location. The associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Depth and Scope of the Role
The Banking Associate is expected to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The associate is also expected to build trust with educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate for this position would possess a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience working with customers, and strong organizational and communication skills. Teller experience is preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. A Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. It is also expected that the associate ensures compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Employee/Team Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to contribute positively to the work environment, actively participate in personal performance and development activities, and collaborate with team members to contribute to the success of the team and organization.
Physical Requirements
The job requires frequent performance of sedentary work, multiple tasks, and operating standard office equipment. Occasional domestic travel may be required. The associate is also expected to stand and walk frequently, and occasionally lift/carry items under and over 25 lbs.
