Team Description and Role Overview

In the role of Principal Associate, Data Scientist, you will be expected to partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver a product customers love. You will leverage a broad stack of technologies like Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and more to reveal the insights hidden within vast volumes of numeric and textual data. Additionally, you will also build machine learning models through all phases of development, from design to training, evaluation, validation, and implementation. Lastly, you will need to flex your interpersonal skills to translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals.

The full-time annual salaries for this role vary by location. For instance, in McLean, VA, the salary ranges from $161,800 – $184,600 and in Richmond, VA, it ranges from $147,100 – $167,900.
