Job Description and Expectations

The Banking Associate is a key professional in the banking sector. This role requires the successful candidate to accurately complete everyday banking transactions and provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

As a Banking Associate, you would be expected to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within the Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. Your duties will also involve delivering end-to-end advice that customers expect, utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, and understanding their financial needs to promote suitable products and services.

Education and Experience

Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED, along with one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred, along with demonstrated customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and a notary license is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Accommodations

The role involves a mix of sedentary work and physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying items occasionally. Domestic travel might be required occasionally, while international travel is not expected.
