The Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The individual in this role will have a range of responsibilities, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. The successful candidate will also provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Moreover, they will engage in lead management activities such as the creation and management of self-generated leads, the management of received partner/retail to retail referral leads or campaign leads, and customer outreach. The role also involves servicing the customer on both the teller line and platform as needed, with the ability to service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, debit card/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile, and online (digital) banking.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED. A year’s experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Further, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and possession of a Notary License is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Applicants should note that the role may involve occasional domestic travel and requires the ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and respond quickly to sounds. The job requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional lifting and carrying (both under and over 25 lbs.).
Compensation and Benefits
The pay scale for the role ranges from $22.00 – $27.75 USD, and the working hours are 30 per week.
