Role and Responsibilities of the Banking Associate
As a Banking Associate, you will be held accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools. This is to help the bank’s customers achieve their financial goals.
The job requires performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role also requires delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, from building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, to advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Education and Experience Requirements
The bank seeks candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. Other requirements include teller experience, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is also required to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. From a shareholder perspective, the role involves ensuring compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.

Physical Requirements
The job involves frequent sedentary work, performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. Other physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs., and the ability to move safely in confined spaces.
