Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a professional banking role accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. The role involves a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, providing advice to customers, and utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships.
Education and Experience Requirements
For this role, TD is seeking candidates with a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any capacity including volunteering, education, or military experience. Other desirable skills include excellent communication, effective problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Teller experience and a Notary License are preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
This role requires the employee to perform a variety of physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting/carrying items under 25 lbs. The role may also involve occasional domestic travel. The employee must be able to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, and concentrate for long periods of time.
