This role is integral to delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The Banking Associate plays a key role in performing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
Compensation and Work Hours
The Banking Associate role is a full-time position with 40-hour work weeks. The pay scale ranges from $22.00 – $27.75 USD. Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is expected to perform a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role involves building trust with customers through educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. Additionally, the Banking Associate will work to understand customer financial needs and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services.
Education & Experience
Applicants for the Banking Associate position must have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This could be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred, and strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a Notary License is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in providing legendary customer service, establishing and nurturing customer relationships, and managing wait times for customer meetings. They are also responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, and for accurately and efficiently performing transactions.

As part of the TD team, the Banking Associate contributes to a positive work environment and collaborates with team members to contribute to the success of the team and organization. They also actively seek opportunities to improve delivery of work with high attention to quality standards and embrace change positively.
Physical Requirements
The role of a Banking Associate involves performing multiple tasks and requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting/carrying. They must also be able to concentrate for long periods of time and apply common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
