Role Overview and Compensation
The Banking Associate is a key player in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role includes everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The base pay for this role ranges from 22.00 to 27.75 USD for 30 hours per week, but the actual offer may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities and Scope of Work
A TD Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role also involves delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, understanding customer financial needs, accurately completing everyday banking transactions and connecting with customers to provide financial advice and deepen relationships.
Education and Experience
Interested candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred, but not required. Strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also among the desired qualifications.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The role demands consistently providing legendary customer service and managing wait times to meet with a banker. The banking associate would be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and for orchestrating customer walk-in traffic. They’d also need to ensure tasks are performed within established policy and procedures and understand and follow compliance/risk and control programs.

Physical Requirements
The job requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting/carrying weights under and over 25 lbs. The associate should also be able to concentrate for long periods of time, apply common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations, and perform multiple tasks efficiently.
