Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at the store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Key tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on banking products and services, and providing consultative support. The role also involves proactive customer engagement to deepen relationships and promote TD’s products and services.
Education & Experience
Prospective candidates need to have at least a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with customers in any capacity, demonstrated customer service skills, and teller experience are preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Customer, Shareholder and Employee Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to provide legendary customer service, manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and drive referrals to support the broader financial needs of customers. You will also ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
