Opportunity for a Banking Associate at TD in Montville, New Jersey
TD, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, is currently looking for a Banking Associate to be stationed at their Montville, New Jersey branch. This role will entail 20 hours of work weekly. A Role Focused on Customer Service and Financial Guidance
The Banking Associate is a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The major responsibilities of this role include accurately processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and support on various banking services, and educating customers on TD’s range of financial products and tools. The Banking Associate is expected to understand customer needs, identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, as well as refer customers to appropriate team members or internal bank partners for further assistance.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred. This customer service experience could be demonstrated through various avenues, including but not limited to volunteering, education, or military experience.
Strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently and within deadlines are also critical for this role. A proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Notary License are added advantages.
Physical Requirements and Travel
While the role mostly involves sedentary work and performing multiple tasks, it may occasionally require lifting or carrying items under or over 25 lbs., kneeling, squatting, and bending. Domestic travel is occasionally required, but international travel is not part of the role.
