Role Responsibilities and Scope
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The professional in this role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
This position covers a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about banking products and services. The banking associate’s role also includes providing end-to-end advice to customers, utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage and deepen relationships, and understanding customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote products and services.
Education and Experience Requirements
In terms of qualifications, applicants for this role should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can come from a variety of sources, including volunteering, education, or military service. The ability to work during operating hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, is also required.
