Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate plays a pivotal role in delivering TD’s promise of exceptional customer service at the store. The professional is responsible for carrying out everyday banking transactions accurately, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. Their work is primarily focused on personal and commercial banking.
A Banking Associate at TD performs a wide range of tasks including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts and educating customers on banking products and services. They utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance. The associate also identifies customer financial needs and promotes relevant products and services or refers them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Education and Experience Requirements
For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity, which could come from volunteering, education, or military experience. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also crucial to succeed in this role.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
