TD Bank is currently offering a job opportunity as a Banking Associate at their Allentown, Pennsylvania location. The position requires candidates to complete everyday banking transactions accurately while providing advice, educational support, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role contributes significantly to delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location.
Job Details
As a Banking Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will be expected to deliver end-to-end advice to customers, build trust through educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations. The candidate will also be expected to use TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to deepen relationships and attract new ones.
Experience and Skills
Interested candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and teller experience are preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficient use of Microsoft Office are also required. A Notary License is a plus for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay rate for the Banking Associate role ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour, for a 20-hour work week. TD Bank ensures fair and equitable compensation opportunities for all its employees. Customer Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will also manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings, and engage in lobby leadership as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
Shareholder Accountabilities
In this role, you will ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer. You will also accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.

Physical Requirements
