One of the key roles within our organization is the Bank Processing Clerk. This position is essential for the efficient handling of bank data for financial institutions. Based at our Totowa, NJ location, the Bank Processing Clerk operates during the second shift, working within a dedicated team to manage back-office bank information in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting. Their responsibilities include ensuring all data is accurately keyed, verified, and processed.
Responsibilities of the Bank Processing Clerk
The role of the Bank Processing Clerk involves performing electronic documents via 10 key data entry for bank processing, verifying entries for accuracy and completeness to properly balance bank work, and sending and receiving bank file transmissions. The individual may also be assigned other job duties as required.
Qualifications for the Position
The ideal candidate for the Bank Processing Clerk role must have at least one year of experience entering data via 10 key numeric data entry. Some basic banking experience, preferably in a teller or proof operator role, is also required. The ability to be attentive to detail and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is a must.
Preferred Skills
While not a requirement, experience in remittance processing would be a valuable asset to the role.
