The Role of a Bank Processing Clerk at Jack Henry
One of the essential positions at Jack Henry is that of the Bank Processing Clerk. This role plays a vital part in the successful processing of bank data for Financial Institutions. Working with a dedicated team, the clerk is responsible for processing back-office bank information in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The clerk ensures that all data keyed is verified and accurate before processing.
This position is remote, and candidates must reside within approximately a 70-mile radius of Jack Henry’s office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO. However, the position may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding to verify identity.

Responsibilities of a Bank Processing Clerk
The Bank Processing Clerk will be responsible for performing electronic documents via 10-key data entry for bank processing. The clerk will also verify entries for accuracy and completeness to properly balance bank work. Additionally, the clerk will be responsible for sending and receiving bank file transmissions. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements for the Position
The ideal candidate must have at least 1-year of experience entering data via 10-key numeric data entry. They must also be attentive to detail and capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ability to work a 2nd shift position that starts at 2:30 pm central and goes until the work is completed for the evening is a must.
Preferred Experience
While not compulsory, it would be advantageous for the candidate to have banking or financial industry experience, remittance processing experience, and experience with data entry into Excel.
