Job Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is expected to accurately complete everyday banking transactions and provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role demands a strong understanding of customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services. The Banking Associate will also be responsible for servicing customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, managing everyday bank transactions, and helping resolve debit card/credit card issues.
Furthermore, the Banking Associate will also be tasked with connecting with customers, providing financial advice, and deepening relationships through lead management activities. This includes creating and managing self-generated leads, managing received partner/retail to retail referral leads or campaign leads, conducting customer outreach, and setting and hosting appointments.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Aspiring candidates need to possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Preferably, candidates should have experience as a Teller and possess a Notary License.
Additionally, candidates must also have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, exemplary communication skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. They should be able to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, sound judgment in decision making, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Compensation
The pay details for this role range from $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour for 40 hours a week. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all its colleagues.
