The Role: An Overview
The Digital Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end creation, execution, and documentation of long-term or multi-year business strategy and roadmaps. This role will also be a source for developing a new and innovative set of business capabilities, which will contribute to the digital business strategies of TD. The individual will be expected to work autonomously, leading teams, managing functional programs, and solving complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Digital Manager, you will be expected to integrate knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations. You will be responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges, recommending the best course of action, and improving products, services, or processes. Other responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams or projects with significant resource requirements, risk and/or complexity, and acting as a technical expert or lead integrating cross-function understanding within their own field of specialty.
Education and Experience
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a related field.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Digital Manager will also have several customer and shareholder accountabilities. These include developing and executing the long-term strategic plan and associated roadmaps for the capabilities assigned, ensuring they align with the broader Digital vision. The individual will also be responsible for providing the recommended sequencing for change and delivery of the new/existing capabilities assigned, developing new functionalities to complement current customer communication channels, and interacting, collaborating and helping influence peers and business partners to ensure alignment to the long-term strategic plan and associated roadmaps of the capabilities assigned.

Physical Requirements
