Mercury: Pioneering the Future of Fintech with AI and API

In the dynamic world of fintech, Mercury has carved a unique niche for itself by creating a revolutionary banking stack specifically catered to the needs of startups. With a steadfast focus on delivering a product experience that is as simple as it is powerful and finely crafted, Mercury is steadily transforming the future of financial software.

The Future of Financial Software

Mercury’s vision is to create infrastructure that works on your behalf, allowing users to conduct transactions, manage accounts, and connect to AI-powered workflows through integrations like MCP, all programmatically via Mercury’s API. The ultimate goal is to build a Mercury interface that customers and AI agents can interact with, ask questions of, and take actions through.

Product Manager Role at Mercury

Mercury is currently on the lookout for a product manager who would be responsible for overseeing Mercury’s API, the integrations with the broader AI and developer tool ecosystem, and the AI-powered product experiences. This role would be ideally suited for someone with a background in the API and AI space, who sees the prospect of making a bank programmable as one of the most intriguing product problems currently available.

Your Journey at Mercury

As a product manager at Mercury, you would be expected to take ownership of the roadmap for Mercury’s API, drive it from niche, read-heavy usage toward a comprehensive platform, and connect to the broader ecosystem of AI tools and developer platforms. You would also lead the product vision for how AI transforms the way people interact with their finances inside Mercury.

Who is Ideal for this Role?

If you’re excited about what’s happening in AI right now, have 7+ years of product management experience with a focus on API products, developer tools, or AI-powered products, and you understand what it means to build for developers and technical users, this role could be a great fit for you.
