Financial Services Professionals Name Deloitte as Top Ideal Employer
15,000 financial services professionals recently participated in the 2025 Ideal Employer report. This year, a significant number of votes went to consulting, accounting, and advisory firms within the professional services sector.
Deloitte, a part of the Big Four professional services firms, emerged as the top choice among the professionals surveyed. With 460,000 employees worldwide and a revenue of $67 billion, Deloitte stood out for its focus on employee well-being and flexible working arrangements.
Top Performers in the Professional Services Sector
While Deloitte excelled in employee wellness and flexibility, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) ranked highly for its compensation and leadership. BCG, with 33,000 employees across 100 cities, was perceived as offering competitive pay and strong leadership.
McKinsey & Co. secured a spot on the podium as well, receiving praise for its workforce quality and compensation structure. Together with BCG and Bain, McKinsey forms MBB, the leading management consultancies globally.
Professional Services Firms Dominate Ideal Employer Rankings
Professional services firms made a strong showing in the list of top ten Ideal Employers this year. Six of the top ten employers in finance belonged to this sector, with Deloitte nearly overtaking JPMorgan as the most desired employer in the industry.
