In finance, all eyes are on an impending court case involving boutique bank Centerview Partners. Former intern Kathryn Shiber is looking for $5m in damages over the way she was treated when joining the bank as an analyst.

Shiber was willing to work up to 98-hour weeks, but that wasn’t enough for Centerview. It’s the way she wanted to work those hours that the bank disagreed with the most.
