This role is based on-site at the local bank branches located in Pearl City, Honolulu, or Hilo, HI.

Role of a Wealth Advisor

The Wealth Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering Non-Deposit Investment Products (NDIPs) and services to the bank’s customers and prospective customer base. They serve as an advisor providing an advice-based approach to financial solutions for an assigned book of business. Wealth Advisors actively solicit new and existing investments and insurance solutions from the retail client base to meet the individualized needs of each customer. They work closely with Retail Branch Managers and Centers of Influence, maintaining strong working relationships with all assigned branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive, needs-based financial solutions to clients by offering a range of investment and insurance solutions.
  • Delivering ethical business practices to ensure full compliance with regulatory, broker-dealer, and institution requirements.
  • Delivering a high-quality customer service experience during each customer interaction.
  • Building strong relationships with retail branch staff, supporting and motivating their referral efforts.
  • Meeting or exceeding established sales goals for the assigned territory while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations governing products and services.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma (Bachelor’s Degree is preferred).
  • A minimum of two (2) years investment sales experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Must maintain active State Applicable Life Insurance License, Active Series 7 Registration, Active Series 63 Registration (if required by the state of hire), Active Series 65 or 66 Registration (if required by the state of hire).
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to sell products and services to investment clients.
  • Broad knowledge of the characteristics and needs of clients and partners within the bank-based investment market.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment/insurance products and financial planning.

About the Pay Range

The salary range for this position is $68,640 – $80,000, dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
