Bridgewater Bank is Seeking an Experienced Vice President Executive Banking for its Lending Team
Bridgewater Bank, one of the top entrepreneurial banks in the Twin Cities, is in search of an experienced Vice President Executive Banking to join their stellar Lending team. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Senior Vice President Team Lead and will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of personal loan products and services with the assistance and lending authority of senior bankers.
The ideal candidate must be able to promote the bank’s strong relationship banking culture through continuous customer contact, superior product knowledge, and quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
The VP Executive Banking’s primary responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities. These include responding to clients’ inquiries and credit requests, underwriting, negotiating, and pricing new loans and renewals, conducting periodic reviews of existing loan arrangements, and negotiating loan financing terms based on risk considerations.
Furthermore, the VP is expected to review and rectify issues identified through various loan monitoring reports, establish and follow through on collection plans for problem loans, and collect supporting documents to facilitate loan closings. They will also be expected to represent the bank in loan closings and client meetings and engage in business development activities.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will be able to grow both loan and deposit relationships, meet and exceed production goals, and work effectively and efficiently with internal client teams. They should also demonstrate the ability to independently analyze, structure, and close loan transactions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with seven or more years of related banking experience. Superior analytical/reasoning skills, demonstrated persuasion skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships are also essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and strong knowledge of lending techniques as well as consumer lending policies and procedures are also required.

Compensation and Benefits
The typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $115,000 – $160,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
