Role and Responsibilities of a Universal Banking Supervisor at ACBT
The Universal Banking Supervisor will be responsible for leading and upholding the bank’s procedures and regulatory policies. The role involves mentoring the team, resolving operational challenges, managing cash limits, liaising between the Universal Banking Manager and lobby bankers, handling account maintenance, and even opening and closing the bank facility as needed.
Furthermore, the role also involves ensuring excellent client service delivery, embracing technological changes, assisting clients with online product adoption, and maintaining a positive attitude. The Universal Banking Supervisor will also need to perform regular bank audits, stay updated on compliance training and banking regulations, and take necessary steps to prevent potential fraud.
In terms of leadership, the ideal candidate will embody the ACBT Core Values, train and assist in onboarding new bankers, collaborate with the Universal Banking Manager for recruitment, and lead by example to foster a focus on the client experience.
Measures of Performance
Performance of the Universal Banking Supervisor will be evaluated based on the quality and accuracy of work performed, reliability and timeliness of service provided, adherence to bank policy and regulatory requirements, participation in training and professional developments, attendance record, professional conduct, and achievement of pre-established annual goals.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, leadership and delegation ability, a knack for building relationships, a focused approach towards clients, strong problem-solving skills, and an acute attention to detail. Educational qualifications include a degree from an accredited university, high school diploma or equivalent, and additional bank-related training. Mastery of teller duties and responsibilities, 1-2 years of supervisory experience, and customer service experience are also required.
