The Role of a Sr. Customer Success Manager in Banking at Alkami

At the heart of Alkami’s mission is the Client Success Team, which supports clients throughout their journey and ensures they derive maximum value from Alkami’s products and services. The team is currently seeking a passionate and driven Senior Client Success Manager to drive client satisfaction, renewals, and account growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading client success efforts across Alkami, building strong relationships with executive influencers and decision-makers within client organizations and converting them into Alkami champions. Understanding your clients’ business challenges, goals, and industry trends, you will provide strategic consultation to help them achieve their business and digital goals.

Your success will be measured by client retention and expansion of their engagement with Alkami. To excel in this role, you will need exceptional organizational skills to manage competing priorities, excellent communication abilities to build strong relationships, and a genuine empathy for client needs. You will be resourceful in solving challenges and committed to ensuring that your clients achieve their goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Senior Client Success Manager at Alkami include but are not limited to:

  • Leading client success efforts for your accounts and across Alkami.
  • Building strong relationships with executive influencers and decision-makers within client organizations, converting them into Alkami champions.
  • Understanding clients’ business challenges, goals, and industry trends, and providing strategic consultation to help them achieve their business and digital goals.
  • Clearly articulating and communicating a compelling vision and roadmap to align stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives and uniting internal teams and clients around shared goals for success.

Recommended Experience & Education

For this role, it’s recommended that you have 5+ years of relevant experience in Client Success, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and driving account growth. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is also desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications

Having experience in Financial Services, particularly working with financial institutions is required. In addition, strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience using and updating Salesforce and/or Gainsight, and the willingness and ability to travel up to 25% are also essential for this role.
