At present, Capital One’s Retail Marketing team is seeking an innovative, strategic, and results-focused individual to join its ranks as a Senior Associate, Cafe Integrated Marketing Strategist. The primary objective of this role is to enhance the visibility of our brand-defining Cafes. Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Associate, Cafe Integrated Marketing Strategist role requires a passionate and detail-oriented marketer with a proven track record in creating strategically sound briefs that result in best-in-class creative across a variety of marketing channels. This role is perfect for a highly collaborative contributor who can bring ideas to life creatively.
As a Cafe Integrated Marketing Strategist, you will develop marketing strategies for Cafe campaigns rooted in consumer insights, business priorities, and seasonal context, which will be implemented within and outside the Cafes. The ideal candidate should be able to not only think about creative development but also its measurement and optimization. They should also be able to determine the right channel mix to achieve business goals and meet customers where they are.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing channel plans and creative for integrated marketing campaigns that drive Cafe awareness and key Bank brand equities
- Partnering with cross-LOB teams to develop an always-on content strategy that narrates Capital One products, features, and experiences across in-Cafe channels like digital signage
- Authoring sound creative briefs, test plans, and strategies to guide breakthrough work rooted in consumer insights and drive continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels
- Collaborating with our creative team and agencies to optimize creative assets and deliver best-in-class marketing communications
- Working cross-functionally with teams such as brand, business, creative, legal, operations, retail merchandising, and corporate communication partners to drive compelling messaging strategies and channel plans that raise awareness of Cafes and deepen understanding of the Cafe value proposition
- Adhering to risk management processes and policies
Who is the Ideal Candidate?
The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of excellence and accuracy. They should have experience in brand marketing, multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, and content development. The candidate should also be effective at working with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, be able to translate marketing strategies into channel plans and creative tactics, and be confident in presenting formal recommendations to senior decision-makers. The ability to navigate ambiguity, work autonomously, and achieve results as part of a team is crucial.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, at least 2 years of multi-channel marketing experience on the client-side or agency, and at least 2 years of experience in creating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns. Marketing experience in financial services or another heavily regulated industry is preferred.
