The Job Description

In the role of a Specialty Banking Enterprise Sales Leader, you will work closely with the Head of Sales and Managers/Leaders throughout the Consumer and Regional Bank Organization. Your responsibilities will be varied and far-reaching, incorporating strategic projects, development of sales and training resources, leading field communication efforts, and ensuring consistent field execution of the bank’s Specialty Banking Not-for-Profit and Foreign Subsidy strategy.

As a leader, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a Not-for-Profit and Foreign Subsidy COI strategy for business bankers. In addition, you’ll provide education and awareness around Specialty Banking across all Consumer and Regional Banking (CRB) channels, including Branches, Business Banking, Private Bank, HFA, among others.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Beyond the strategic aspects of the role, the Specialty Banking Enterprise Sales Leader will also be responsible for a wide range of operational tasks. These include being the lead liaison for credit structure questions and deal development for colleagues throughout the CRB. Furthermore, this role requires the creation and maintenance of a forward-thinking, long-term vision to ensure consistent execution of plans for new Specialty Banking originations from the enterprise.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, a Bachelor’s Degree is a basic requirement. Moreover, candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in Business Banking, Not-for-Profit, or Foreign Subsidies banking. While these are the basic qualifications, preferred candidates would have management experience with a background in sales, service, or oversight roles that focus on Specialty Banking sales.

Additionally, strong coaching and training skills, the ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization, excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills are vital to this role. Moreover, the role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. Proficiency in PC and internet usage is also essential.
