The internship targets a pay range of $18.00 – $20.00, with the actual starting pay subject to factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. This summer, Axos Bank is offering two internship sessions, giving potential candidates the flexibility to choose a schedule that best fits their needs. The first session runs from May 27 to August 14, while the second session is from June 17 to September 4.
Role and Responsibilities of a Small Business Banking Analyst Intern
As a Small Business Banking Analyst Intern, you’ll be involved in deposit account onboarding, client servicing, and operational support. Alongside these responsibilities, you’ll have the chance to be a part of a capstone project, engage with business leaders, undertake financial literacy training courses, participate in Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and contribute to a volunteer day.
Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing and auditing business account onboarding packages, monitoring and tracking onboarding workflows using internal systems, and generating reports on onboarding status, pipeline activity, and client and Relationship Manager engagement metrics. You will also participate in business reviews to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements. These tasks will help you develop a deeper understanding of the financial services industry, enhance your client interaction skills, and improve your knowledge of internal process management.
