What You’ll Do as a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), Bank Tech
As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will span across various domains. Being a part of our Agile teams, you will design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
Moreover, you will be expected to share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community.
With digital product managers at your side, you will deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment.
To achieve this, you will utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications for the Role
For this role, you are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience. Please note that internship experience does not apply here.
Preferred Qualifications for the Role
Our ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js. Additionally, 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service would be beneficial. An experience of 3+ years in open source frameworks and 2+ years of experience in Agile practices would further strengthen your application.

Compensation, Benefits, and More
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. For instance, in Wilmington, DE, the range is $147,100 – $167,900 for Senior Software Engineer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
