About the Role: Senior Branch Premier Banker
We are currently seeking a Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) in Consumer and Small Business Banking, as part of our Branch Banking division. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from acquiring new affluent consumer and small business customers, to maintaining deep knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo’s banking, credit, and investment financial solutions and services.
What Does a Senior Branch Premier Banker Do?
The role of a Senior Branch Premier Banker varies, depending on several factors such as years of experience, complement of clients serviced, and the specific banking services and options required by clients. Key responsibilities include proactively acquiring new customers, reviewing and analyzing customer concerns, advising customers on financial options, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Branch Premier Banker, you will be expected to exercise independent judgement and discretion in managing client relationships, build relationships with branch colleagues and customers, and be an active member of the branch team. You will also be expected to understand and manage risks in the business, build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues, and comply with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations.
Required and Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role must have at least 4+ years of customer service experience or equivalent, 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners, and 3+ years of experience recommending products and services. Financial services industry experience in one or a combination of corporate, consumer, mortgage, investments, brokerage, or private banking is desired. Other desired qualifications include excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, knowledge and understanding of Branch Banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention, and ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of self-service digital banking options.
