Northern Trust’s Senior Banking Advisor Role
OH: R144752 – Northern Trust is currently seeking a Senior Banking Advisor who can bring a wealth of expertise to the team. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing new relationships and identifying prospective clients.
- Managing complex wealth management banking credit and treasury management client relationships.
- Structuring and negotiating complex loan and lease agreements in accordance with guidelines established by senior bank and business unit management.
- Analyzing and negotiating loan terms, overseeing and negotiating documentation necessary for the financing agreement.
- Advising clients in relation to Goals Driven Wealth Management.
- Generating leads through well-established relationships with Centers of Influence (COI’s) and cultivating a network of additional COI’s.
- Providing comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to the team and partners at a high technical level.
- Direct interaction with different committees and/or management.
- Developing, implementing, and administering programs within functional areas.
The successful candidate should have expertise in financial analysis and client servicing, coupled with private and commercial lending and/or leasing experience. An advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition, and financing is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to negotiate, lead and generate sales are also essential for this role.
