About the Role

As a Product Manager with the Bank Data Team, you will be part of a dedicated team of product managers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts working to create the real-time, intelligent Bank of the future. Your role will involve building and executing the strategy to modernize how Capital One publishes and consumes data. This will involve working across the Bank to understand current practices and future needs.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

• Defining the central data strategy for Retail Bank
• Working closely with customers, associates, designers, technologists, and data scientists
• Pushing for big change by asking bold questions and testing innovative solutions
• Sharing your experiences and stories to change the way people think about building products and solving problems
• Creating a self-supporting community by integrating the right off-the-shelf products and using elbow grease
• Identifying and solving the right problems

Qualifications

To qualify for the position, you must have at least 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer experiences, working on the core product platforms that power digital experiences, and digital industry experience for consumers. A Bachelor’s Degree or military experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be an added advantage if you have at least 3 years of experience with web and client-side mobile platforms, at least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile development process, an MBA, and familiarity with databases, ETL processes, and other data infrastructure.
