Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

A Product Operations Manager’s role is multi-faceted, involving the development of connectivity strategies across product spaces and the creation of structures that enhance coordination within the product line. An integral part of this role includes collaborating with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all product initiatives align with regulatory and policy requirements. Further, the Product Operations Manager is responsible for driving business readiness for new launches and enhancements.

This role also involves proactive identification of operational risks, streamlining processes for efficiency, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, high-quality customer experiences. Other responsibilities include leading change initiatives, managing stakeholder communications, and supporting the continuous improvement of the bank’s Deposits 2.0 portfolio.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

To excel in this role, a candidate should have at least 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization. A proven track record of managing and implementing operational effectiveness initiatives is also a must. Other necessary qualifications include knowledge of the product development life cycle, agile methodologies, and consumer banking operations. The candidate should also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication abilities, and a knack for stakeholder management.

Preferred qualifications include prior experience working with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams within a financial services environment. The candidate should also be capable of driving business readiness for complex product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing change initiatives. Advanced knowledge of deposit products, consumer banking regulations, and industry best practices is also desirable.
