Job Description: Personal Bankers at WSFS Bank
At WSFS Bank, Personal Bankers play a crucial role in providing products and services that enhance customer relationships. They understand their customers’ financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services. The role involves in-person interactions, outbound calling efforts, opening new accounts and submitting loan applications. Personal Bankers also ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
This role also involves resolving customer service issues, performing account maintenance requests, and promoting the Bank’s digital banking services. Personal Bankers assist customers with teller transactions, processing them in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.

Personal Bankers are provided with a series of classroom and hands-on experiences at various banking offices, where they can apply the knowledge and skills they have learned. This rigorous 4-6-month training period equips them with the necessary knowledge to provide excellent service and become an engaged member of the organization.
The training covers aspects such as transaction processing and account opening applications, referral techniques, customer service, and relationship building. Personal Bankers are also trained in relationship-building methods and referral techniques to make the best product and service recommendations for their customers and expand the branch’s customer base.
Working Schedule and Salary
This full-time role requires a flexible rotating weekly schedule, with 2-3 Saturdays per month. The schedule can change based on business needs. The role offers a competitive base salary, ranging from $37,440 to $52,800, along with incentive opportunities and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this role include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of face-to-face customer service experience, and previous cash handling experience. Prior consultative sales experience is also required. Candidates with banking and retail sales experience will be given preference. Other essential skills include attention to detail, ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to market Bank products and services.
