OpenAI Introduces Personal Finance Management Tools for ChatGPT Pro Users

OpenAI has assured users that ChatGPT can access balances, transactions, investments, and liabilities but cannot view full account numbers or make any changes to connected accounts. The company also provides a multifactor authentication option for ChatGPT accounts as an extra security measure.
Meanwhile, a representative from Plaid has confirmed that their integration with OpenAI operates the same way as with all other companies they work with, using encrypted APIs to connect consumers’ financial accounts to ChatGPT with their permission. They emphasize that they only securely share authorized financial data for specific, approved purposes and only with consumers’ consent.
