Responsibilities of the Role

This position involves several responsibilities, all aimed at facilitating market growth and closing equity gaps. Among other things, the role entails managing external partnerships in a matrixed environment, indirectly influencing teams to ensure the execution of market playbooks, and coordinating with segment chiefs and functional areas at the corporate level.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to understand and work through the strategic impact among internal business teams. These include, but are not limited to Audit, Legal, Marketing, Finance & Strategy, Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Corporate Operations, Community Development and Transformation. The job also involves coordinating with all business segments reporting sales goals and adhering to strategic plans based on a customer-centric and data-informed approach.

Qualifications for the Role

To qualify for this position, the candidate is required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in a banking or financial services firm. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing medium to large projects and/or large project teams.

Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent listening skills, a natural inclination to focus on meeting needs and internal client needs, coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills. A digital and data-driven mentality is essential for developing and carrying out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies and processes that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced people-first, customer-centered experience. A growth mindset with a business-owner mentality is also desirable for this role.

Overtime Status and Compensation

It is important to note that this position is not eligible for overtime pay. The compensation range for this position is between $77,000 and $154,000 Annual Salary. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
