Banking Analyst I Position Overview
Texas Capital is seeking to fill the role of Banking Analyst I, an entry-level position within the Commercial Banking line of business. Depending on the market, this role will report to the Market or Team Leader and collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, the Credit team, and other business partners to deliver best-in-class experiences and comprehensive financial solutions to clients and prospects across a broad array of industries.
Preferred Qualifications and Responsibilities
Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or another relevant field. They should have between .5 to 1.5 years of experience in Banking, preferably Commercial Banking, or other relevant experience. The successful candidate will be an effective team player, capable of working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. They should have exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills, organizational and time management skills, a fundamental knowledge of Credit Underwriting, and strong attention to detail.
Candidates will be tasked with responsibilities such as preparing financial cash flow models and balance sheet committee memos, performing initial review of financial statements, supporting Credit Portfolio Managers on review, renewal, and completion of Credit Approvals, creating Pitch Books, Client Advisory presentations, and Executive Summaries prior to client/prospect calls, and attending client and prospect calls with Relationship Managers. They will also have to research and generate prospect opportunities, manage risk portfolio reviews, exception clearing, and credit projects, and log all activity accurately and timely in applicable Texas Capital systems.
