The Role: Manager, Project Management | Retail Bank Chief of Staff Office
The Retail Bank Chief of Staff team plays a critical role in supporting the President of Retail Bank, the Bank HR Lead, and the Retail Bank Leadership Team. The team’s main focus is to design and execute the Retail Bank culture, with a strong focus on workplace solutions and associate experience.
The Manager, under the guidance of the Senior Director, Chief of Staff, is responsible for developing and implementing bank-wide strategies for crucial initiatives. These initiatives include managing workplace location and office, AI enablement and upskilling, and improving associate engagement. The role provides an opportunity to influence the associate experience across the Retail Bank and contribute to the advancement of the company’s strategy at a larger scale.
The role is a unique blend of execution, problem-solving, program management, change management, and strategic communication. The ideal candidate should be excited about making a positive impact on the associate experience and helping leaders advance the company’s strategy.
Responsibilities
The Manager will collaborate with partners to develop and implement strategies around hybrid experiences, location strategy, and associate upskilling. They will act as a central point of contact between the Retail Bank leadership team and other key partners, ensuring alignment of leaders across the organization.
Additionally, they will work with the leadership and communications team to plan and execute key messages and deliverables for both internal and external audiences. A high priority is placed on consistent, frequent organizational communications. Furthermore, the Manager will communicate plans and execution status for divisional strategic programs and coordinate associate engagement related activities.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate should be proficient in the use of LLMs and general AI assistants like Google Gemini. They should be able to balance forward-thinking and pragmatic approaches, demonstrate strong influential communication skills, and use data-driven storytelling. They should have the ability to develop structured delivery plans for gray space problems and exhibit strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
The candidate should be highly effective in rapidly changing environments, multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, and demonstrate urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications include a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification, and at least 4 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, or Program Management. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in strategy development, talent and culture strategy, and driving organizational change and operational excellence.
