Role of Banking Specialist Manager at Brex
The Banking Specialist Manager at Brex plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s growth strategy. This leadership role entails managing a high-performing team of Banking Specialists who are focused on promoting the adoption of Brex’s business account suite, which includes checking, treasury, and sweep products. The team plays a critical role in growing Assets Under Management (AUM), expanding customer relationships, and maximizing long-term revenue across Brex’s customer base.
As a people leader, you will have the opportunity to coach, develop, and motivate a team that partners directly with Founders, CFOs, Controllers, and other senior finance leaders. You will be involved in strategic leadership, hands-on deal support, operational rigor, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure your team consistently exceeds targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
As a Banking Specialist Manager, you will be expected to manage, coach, and mentor a team of Banking Specialists to consistently meet and exceed AUM and revenue targets. You will foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-first selling while owning team performance against core banking metrics.
Moreover, you will need to have 5+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or related sales roles, along with 2+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing sales or banking teams. A strong understanding of business banking products and excellent communication skills are also essential for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
At Brex, we value our employees’ hard work and dedication, and our compensation package reflects this commitment. The expected On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role of Banking Specialist Manager is between $194,360 and $242,950, including base salary and commissions. The final offer will depend on various factors, including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay equity.
