Exciting opportunity: Head of U.S. High Net Worth (HNW) Banking
As the financial landscape continues to evolve, there’s a growing demand for leaders with a solid understanding of high net worth (HNW) banking. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join BMO Financial Group as the Head of U.S. HNW Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing four regional teams delivering Private Banking deposit and lending products. The team will comprise of portfolio bankers, credit administrators and analysts.
Role Responsibilities
The Head of U.S. HNW Banking will provide technical expertise on credit analysis, credit structuring, credit decisioning, credit administration, portfolio management including annual reviews and covenant checking and portfolio monitoring. The HNW Banking team works closely with the Banking origination teams to deliver the highest level of products and services for the Private Banking client segment.
The individual must have strong Private Banking credit administration experience and exercise good credit judgement. This role will require the individual to obtain and maintain credit authority and have a good working relationship with second and third line partners.

The Head of U.S. HNW Banking will have a broad range of responsibilities. The individual will also have to identify new and innovative ways of managing the business and increasing competitiveness with the requirements of the market.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically, 10+ years of relevant experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field is preferred, with an MBA or Masters degree being a plus. Extensive credit and risk expertise are essential for the role. The successful candidate will also need to have expert knowledge and technical proficiency related to private wealth management strategies, issues and trends.
Salary
The salary range for this position is from $137,000.00 to $238,000.00. BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
