Your responsibilities will include engaging with clients, answering their queries, and offering solutions to complex issues. You will also be required to attend the Schwab Service Academy (SSA), which will provide you with paid training, study time, and support to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
Compensation
Schwab offers a competitive pay and bonus package. The starting compensation for this location begins at $52,800 during training and can increase depending on related experience. You also have an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings. Employees can potentially increase their total compensation to $60,280 within their first year upon obtaining the required Licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases.
Who Can Apply?
Regardless of your prior experience in finance, Schwab encourages individuals with a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a passion for serving others to apply. Previous customer service or client relationship experience can prove to be beneficial. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred but not necessary.
Applicants must be willing to work full time on-site during Schwab’s training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule. They should also be prepared to work various shifts to cater to clients 24/7, which includes overnight and weekend availability.
