Schwab Service Academy
As part of your journey, you will be attending the Schwab Service Academy. This program provides you with paid training, study time, and the support you need to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. If you are eager to pursue a career in finance and share a passion for serving clients, this role is for you, especially if you are looking for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Compensation and Bonus
We offer a competitive pay and bonus package that includes a starting compensation of $50,300 during training ($24.18/hr.) plus an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings. There is also the potential to increase your total compensation to $57,530 within the first year upon obtaining the required licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases. Additionally, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts include up to 20% additional compensation, dependent on the shift.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
While finance expertise is not a requirement, a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a passion for serving others are crucial to succeed in this role. You must be able to work 8:00am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday during Schwab’s training program, on-site. After the training is complete, you should be able to work assigned shifts to accommodate business needs, including evening, overnight, and weekend options. The benefits of working these shifts include increased compensation and remote work opportunities for qualifying shifts.
Preferred qualifications include previous customer service or client relationship experience, a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, ability to adapt to changes in the market and business, a passion for providing service to clients, motivation to learn about the securities industry, robust communication skills, desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team, and demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications.
