Schwab’s Service Team, Your Opportunity
At the core of Schwab’s commitment to helping clients own their financial futures is our dedicated service team. This vibrant group of professionals is tasked with educating clients on investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices. They engage with clients, answering inbound calls, addressing complex issues, and offering the best possible solutions.
As part of this team, you’ll be an advocate for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their questions answered. You’ll also take charge of your own professional journey through the Schwab Service Academy. This program offers paid training, study time, and support to help you obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. If you are eager to pursue a career in finance, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients, this role is for you.
Competitive Pay and Bonus Package
We understand the importance of competitive compensation. As such, we offer a starting compensation of $52,800 during training, coupled with an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings. Upon obtaining the required licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases, employees have the potential to increase their total compensation to $60,280 ($54,800 base, plus 10% bonus opportunity) within their first year.

Required Qualifications
- Ability to work full time on-site during Schwab’s training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule.
- Availability to work various shifts to serve our clients 24/7, including overnight and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous client relationship experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related field from an accredited university
- Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
- Eagerness to learn about finance
- Passion for service to clients
- Motivation to learn about the securities industry, including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions
- Strong communication, influencing, and client engagement skills
- Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Proven success navigating multiple computer applications
