Your Role At Schwab
At the core of Schwab’s commitment to helping clients own their financial future is the service team. Your role here is to educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices, offering the best possible solutions to complex issues. By attending the Schwab Service Academy (SSA), you get paid training, study time, and the support needed to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. This role is for you if you are eager to pursue a career in finance and share a passion for serving clients.
Compensation
Schwab offers a competitive pay and bonus package. Starting compensation for this role begins at $52,800 during training (increases depending on related experience), plus an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings. Employees have the potential to increase their total compensation to $60,280($54,800 base, plus a 10% bonus opportunity depending on individual/corporate performance) within their first year upon obtaining the required Licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases.

Qualifications And Skills
There are certain qualifications and skills that Schwab looks for in its potential candidates. These include the ability to work full time on-site during Schwab’s training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule, and the ability to work various shifts to serve clients 24/7, including overnight and weekend availability. Preferred qualifications include previous customer service and client relationship experience, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university, and a motivation to learn about the securities industry.
