Work Flexibility and Location

The job position is hired on a SuccessFlex basis, which means you’ll have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location: Grandview: 1000 Yard Street Grandview OH, 43215. The work schedule entails spending two days in the office and three days working remotely. This role, however, doesn’t qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and Nationwide doesn’t participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

Job Description and Responsibilities

As an Analyst at Nationwide, you’ll be responsible for providing efficient service for assigned product and/or service center internal and external customers. You’ll coordinate communication between contract holders, producers, and internal Nationwide departments. The job also entails reviewing forms and files submitted by members or partners to ensure accurate entry into record keeping systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include preparing all materials to propose, sell and establish new plans, interpreting plan provisions, providing extraordinary care to our customers, and following up with appropriate internal administrative areas for completeness and accuracy of the end policy/account product. You’ll also be expected to research, review and analyze errors, conduct follow-up calls to service issues and questions, and compile management information as needed by internal management.

Skills and Experiences

The ideal candidate for this role should have a high school education, with undergraduate studies being desirable. Four or more years of related work experience, including customer service experience, is preferred. Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to research, analyze, and solve problems are essential. The candidate should have the ability to understand, anticipate, and proactively act on customer needs, as well as have strong team-building and collaboration skills.
