Joining Nationwide Financial on a SuccessFlex Basis
This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis, providing a flexible work schedule that includes 2 days in office and 3 days remote. Note that the hired associate must reside within 35 miles of Grandview: 1000 Yard Street, Grandview OH, 43215. Please bear in mind that this role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.
Key Responsibilities
As a representative, you will be tasked with the processing of incoming payments for Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), managing beneficiary updates and contract-level changes, and handling returned mail by updating records and re-sending account statements to members.

As a representative, you will provide timely, efficient service for an assigned product and/or service center internal and external customer. You will ensure that we are providing extraordinary care to our customers through workflow management and meeting all required service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include processing business requests according to government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls. You will uphold professional conduct consistent with excellent customer service, maintain current knowledge of contract and product provisions, and understand federal and state regulations. You will also consult and interpret contract provisions for current and past products for policyholders, agents/brokers, and other operating units.
Skills and Experiences
The ideal candidate will have a high school education, with undergraduate studies being desirable. One to three years of work experience with product-related customer service work experience is preferred. A general knowledge of office practices, customer service, information systems, and insurance/financial services industry practices (i.e. annuities, mutual funds) is also preferred.
