The Value-Added Services Division at Visa

Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) division is one of the three core revenue growth drivers for the company. The VAS division empowers Visa’s clients to offer secure, reliable, and convenient payment experiences for their customers. Among the five business units within the VAS division, the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team plays a crucial role in preventing fraud across the entire payment journey, across all payment endpoints and networks, without disrupting the flow of business. Job Opportunity: Financial Analyst in Risk and Identity Solutions Team

Visa is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Risk and Identity Solutions team. The role demands interpersonal skills for fostering partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to effectively carry out all planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. This position also involves presenting results and providing insights and analysis to business partners and executives. The ideal candidate would have a background in financial analysis, preferably with a public company, and a proven track record of collaborating with team members and supported functions.

The role’s essential functions include supporting the coordination, organization, and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses. Activities range from traditional budgeting and forecasting to enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and business planning support. The role also involves supporting business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.

The Financial Analyst will establish and maintain relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders in the business, serving as a key point of contact for finance issues. This individual will also acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business, applying their analytical skills and experience to become a highly valued business partner.

This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of days in the office to be confirmed by the hiring manager.

Qualifications

The basic qualifications for this role include at least 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree such as a Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD. The preferred qualifications include 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
