Furthermore, at Schwab, you’re in charge of your own professional journey. You’ll attend the Schwab Service Academy, a program designed to provide you with paid training, study time, and support to help you obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.

Compensation and Benefits

At Schwab, we believe in fair compensation for hard work. We offer a competitive pay and bonus package that includes:

  • Starting compensation of $54,100 during training ($26.01/hr.) plus an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay and other eligible earnings.
  • Potential to increase your total compensation to $61,700 within your first year upon obtaining the requisite licensing and achieving performance-based pay increases.
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts come with up to 20% additional compensation, depending on the shift.

There are a few requirements for this role:

  • Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday during Schwab’s training program, on-site. After training, the ability to work assigned shifts to accommodate business needs, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
  • Benefits of working evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts include increased compensation and remote work opportunities for qualifying shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

We value the following qualifications:

  • Prior customer service or client relationship experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business.
  • A passion for providing service to clients.
  • A motivation to learn about the securities industry including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including influencing and client engagement.
  • A desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
  • Success in navigating multiple computer applications.
