Roles of a Business Banking Group Member
As a member of the Business Banking Group at Eastern Bank, you will be tasked with the responsibility of developing a portfolio of customers, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs) through networking and other business development efforts. You will also be expected to sell bank products to new and existing customers, manage relationships externally with key Community Partners, and recommend new banking opportunities for loan and deposit relationships. The role also includes managing a portfolio of Business Banking (BB) clients to minimize risk and create a positive customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of training and related experience. They should have five-to-eight years of sales and management experience and a basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking. Proficiency in technology, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to self-generate sales prospects and pipeline are also crucial for this role. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to attend networking events outside of standard business hours.
