Who is a Director of Fair and Responsible Banking at Frost?
As a Director of Fair and Responsible Banking at Frost, you are the leader who provides guidance and support to each member of your team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) strategic plan, overseeing the Fair and Responsible Banking Policy and Program, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are up-to-date and in line with regulatory expectations. Job Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of a Fair and Responsible Banking Manager at Frost include:
- Managing the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) strategic plan, ensuring it meets both regulatory requirements and the needs of the communities we serve
- Partnering with various business lines to develop strategies that help achieve fair and responsible banking business objectives
- Overseeing CRA-related risk assessments and reviews, and presenting findings and recommendations to the Chief Frost for Good Officer
- Maintaining the bank’s CRA Public File, ensuring its availability and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborating with Compliance to coordinate with federal and state regulators during CRA examinations and ensure readiness across the organization
- Leading the bank’s Fair Lending program, ensuring it is risk-based and appropriately scaled for the size and complexity of Frost
- Overseeing the development and implementation of fair lending risk monitoring tools, including dashboards and key risk indicators
- Providing training and support to staff on applicable fair lending laws and regulations to ensure a strong culture of compliance
- Collaborating with the Compliance team to ensure all policies and procedures reflect up-to-date regulatory expectations
- Overseeing the Fair and Responsible Banking Policy and Program
- Providing updates to the Frost for Good Officer on the Fair and Responsible Banking Policy and Program review
What Qualifications Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, you need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
- At least 8 years of experience in CRA and fair lending compliance, or related experience
- Deep knowledge of CRA and fair lending regulations
- Strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal communication skills
- A proven ability to work cross-functionally with executive leadership, regulators, and team members
Additional Preferred Skills

- Experience in developing fair lending risk models and dashboards
- Familiarity with regulatory examination processes
